New Schedules

So yesterday me and Marina got our schedules, ID cards, the whole nine yards. So happily we already got our Whooping Cough shots two years ago when we got three shots in one day. I thought it was for Chicken Pox but I guess I was wrong. Oh well. Least I don't need needles injected into my arm so I was so happy for that.

So here's my schedule in order:

Beginning Dance
World History
Chemistry
Advanced English 10
Algebra 2
Spanish 3

And I still have my advisory class with Mr. Brezette and I'm super psyched cause he also has my sister for one of his British Literature classes. So I feel uber happy about that.

So for the first time in a few years my school picture actually looks decent for once instead of crap which makes me happy. And I purchased a yearbook for this year as well. I was glad I was able to get my schedule earlier because we had to fix a fine from the water damage to my old geometry textbook cause I didn't need to be in a super long line for like over an hour. It was really good cause I got to see some friends I haven't seen since the start of the summer. Just five more days..

Which reminds me I still need to get my English homework printed. Hahahaha.

After getting our schedules, we drove to Gilroy so I can have more luck with back to school shopping at the Kohl's since it's the only place I'm able to find jeans and capris that fit. I also tried to get a pair of Vans but the store was just loaded with people because of a sale and I couldn't find what I wanted.

Bright side is that there's a Plato's Closet by the mall opening up at the end of the month so maybe I'll find stuff here.

So today's just another ordinary day. Sitting at home watching anime like there's no tomorrow. I'm slowly getting my way to finishing Chobits and Soul Eater.

Back to the Beach

So yesterday me, my mom, my step-dad, my sister, and her boyfriend went out to Capitola for a nice day of relaxing at the beach. On the way we took a little detour to a small Croatian bakery and deli and bought a nice load of Polish sausage and some other Croatian goodies. And just tasting Polish sausage for the first time in over a year is just pure and utter bliss. It's like meat candy whenever my grandparents gave some to me or Marina. Never thought I'd miss it so much.

After the detour, our GPS took us out to God's country for whatever reason and it took an hour longer to get to the beach. I didn't mind so much though I did have a full bladder for quite some time.

We just chilled on the beach. Didn't bring my camera cause I didn't know how much battery I had. Roamed the beach a bit and picked up some shells and rock. I even found granite. See lots of kids make sandcastles out in Capitola. Oh, and I did see a group of girls use a long piece of kelp for a jump rope. Very nice to go to Capitola in the afternoon.

As for today, we went to the mall for a little bit of clothes shopping for school. Didn't get as much as I thought I would, but I did get a tank top from Macy's and a Hetalia T-shirt from Hot Topic that I couldn't live without.

And now my mom's making dinner for our neighbor's coming over later.

I believe I can flyyyyyyy

Don't ask about the weird title.

So on Thursday, me and my family flew out (in a small airplane that my step-dad can now fly for fun purposes since he got his pilot's license) to Santa Ynez down south from San Jose and got a taxi to a small Dutch like town of Solvang which would've been an almost four hour drive but instead was a one hour flight. We got some lunch and then just went around looking through all the small shops, mostly antique stores which are always fun to look at all the old stuff.

Then later that afternoon we flew north to the Oceano Dunes for a few minutes and we luckily got there in time for the sunset which was just gorgeous. Got a bunch of shells that washed up on shore. Then we flew back to San Jose and got a late dinner at Wendy's which I haven't had in over a year. Their fries are awesome!

So nowadays my mom's friend Carrie from Indiana has come over for a visit and my mom's been hanging out with her. They went to Napa Valley yesterday. We went to the Gilroy Outlets today and I got a couple shirts from Forever 21 and a cup of Starbucks hot chocolate. The entire town of Gilroy smelled of garlic because of their Garlic Festival but when we went last year it wasn't as well as I anticipated other than getting garlic fries. They even had garlic ice cream which wasn't uber great. Anyway, we went out to Chevy's for an early dinner and came home.

Tomorrow's gonna be the first day of August and I have less than three weeks to finish my summer assignments. I've finished reading all the books I'm required to read and have started on the whole typing up and searching for meanings and what not. Really really should get on that. Oh, and me and my sister still need our Whooping Cough shots so we can even go to school which I'm not psyched for at all. Out of my phobias one of them has to be needles for medical and drug use. Always makes me shudder when I see it on TV.

On another small note I finally got access to Netflix for the first time in forever and added a crap ton of anime to it. Cannot wait to get on that.

She's Livin' La Vida Loca

Day after Christmas. We decided to go out shopping with our Christmas money. Not exactly the best game plan in the universe but it's better than Black Friday. Right? I dunno...

We went out to the mall and getting in and finding a place to park was such a pain. We got stuck behind these guys in a red Volkswagen who have stopped in the middle of the road for no reason. So my mom honks the horn and the guy in the back seat flips her off. We eventually found a spot close to a handicapped place in front of Macy's.

Man, was the mall busy today. Lines, people crowded in front of Jamba Juice, just plain madness period. This is probably another reason why my mom gives me and Marina money for Christmas: So we don't have to get stuck in the return lines because something doesn't fit or isn't the right color. Me and Marina wandered off on our own. We went to Hot Topic and they now have some pretty cool hats. I loved the bunny hat with floppy ears and the Shadow Heartless hat. So cute!

We also went to Pac Sun because Marina needed some jeans. Which took forever to find the right size. I got a purple beret from Pac Sun. I loved the color and it looked so cute on me. We met up with our mom and went to a sandwich place for lunch. I got a roast beef sandwich but it didn't suit my tastes. Horseradish isn't exactly my favorite.

We took a brief stop at Border's and I got Maximum Ride: The Final Warning and the first Maximum Ride manga. It's by far my favorite book series. James Patterson rocks! I definently recommend the Maximum Ride series for anyone.

Nut Butter? What?

It seriously exists..along with injectable butter..The weird things you find in California...Anyway..

So today me and Marina went dress shopping for our winter formal. Went to Macy's cause they have really awesome dresses. Even if most of them are ridiculously expensive. Not as easy as we hoped cause the dress section of the store looked like a factory in Taiwan exploded. Either that or it was the aftermath of Black Friday. We were lucky to even find anything in all that clutter. I found some really nice dresses that fit well. Out of all of them I picked this really cute black one. Dude, my hair looks really ridiculous..Hahahaha..But it's less frizzy than usual. I think I should straighten my hair more often.

Starting school again tomorrow. Man this vacation was long. Well, less than 3 weeks it'll be Christmas vacation. Don't think we'll be doing much until then. See ya!
