She's a female phenomenon. She's a Glamazon.

So after weeks of competition, the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race has finally been announced. Say hello to your new queen, Sharon Needles!!

Fierce!

It was a tough decision to make and I can see why it was delayed till the reunion show. Along with Sharon there was Chad Michaels, a glamorous Cher impersonater, and Phi Phi O'Hara, a young show girl. All three were determined to win but that winner had to be Sharon Needles and I was sooo happy because she's one of my favorites. While usually going on the runway with a spooky Halloween-ish look, she can also turn in the scary into the beautiful drag queen look that she's able to pull off and look fabulous.

I'm gonna be sad I won't have my favorite show to watch on Mondays for another year, but I'm glad that this was a good season and I hope there are more to come.

What I really love about this show is that you get to see the world of what it's like to be gay, dress in women's clothes and the struggles they went through growing up and being gay. While these queens look gorgeous on the outside, a lot of them hide dark pasts of bullying and abuse. A lot of these queens were picked on terribly as teens; some more worse than others. I heard a couple say they've considered suicide as an option to escape it all. One of them even said that he was put in the hospital on his eighteenth birthday by his own father.

They have a challenge in one of the episodes where they bring in very masculine, straight men and dress them up in drag to create a "family resemblance". I think they have that challenge in specific to bring in people about the world that homosexual people live in and hear of the problems they had to deal with. I don't know if RuPaul intended it or not, but it's really just an eye-opener to people who've been closed off to that world from the conservative homes they come from and they realize that yeah, these guys like men and dress in women's clothes for performing, but they're still human nonetheless. Who's cares who they're attracted to and what they do for a living? Those types of episodes are always my favorite just for that reason.

So now that Drag Race is over, RuPaul's Drag U will be premiering with a new season this summer where they take middle aged women who never have time to make themselves feel beautiful, and the "drag professors" change them into fierce "glamazons". Think I'll check out an episode or two if  summer homework doesn't overwhelm me.

You know that moment...

When you feel overly ecstatic about finishing seeing the whole Japanese walkthrough of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and then figure out the story via Wikipedia? It feels freaking awesome!!!

I've been watching a YouTuber called crow07211017 who's been posting an entire walkthrough for KH 3D and he just uploaded the last part yesterday. Lemme just say, it's sooooo beautiful~~!!!

Graphics: Gorgeous, as usual from the genius Tetsuya Nomura.
Gameplay: Confusing.. but amazing.
Story: Intense and cliffhanging, making me asking for the official Kingdom Hearts 3 now!!

I'd rather not spoil anything for anyone, but check out crow07211017's YouTube if you wanna check the walkthrough's with the cutscenes. Some people in the comments tell where they are so you don't always have to watch the fighting and stuff, but the gameplay's still good to look at. And don't do what I did and look at the Kingdom Hearts Wiki page for plot line or for anything for that matter. Kingdom Hearts 3D is just too good to spoil yourself with, so don't do it!!

Overall, the most epic game in the entire Kingdom Hearts series and it's gonna be a huge rage with the fans in Europe and America!

A moment of nostalgia

So this was me in the 8th grade. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it and watching it over and over again.

God I'm so addicted to the song Shake It by Metro Station.




It brings back so many memories from my eighth grade year. Not lying. This was my favorite song to listen to all the time. If it came on the radio or during a school dance, I'd burst out dancing. Didn't care that it was singing about sex cause it's the catchiest song ever with a good dancing beat and people who can really sing. Speaking of, I recently found on this old computer that my photos from my entire 8th grade year are still on here and I just got swept over with a moment of pure nostalgia. Now I'm inspired to movie making with all that old stuff. I'll post it on here so you guys get to see what I looked like before high school. God I was such a ridiculous child in those days. Hahaha..

More testing this week. Luckily just today and tomorrow. Today was the math portion which gets pretty crazy with everyone taking different math classes. Most of the kids in my testing room are already in Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry but there are some still in Algebra 2 or Geometry. To my surprise it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Some stuff I didn't remember and just had to play Eeny-Meeny-Miney-Mo for the answer. But I have high hopes I still did really well on it. Tomorrow's the science and last portion of the STAR testing and thank god cause I'm done with dealing with it.

A letter came in yesterday from our school district telling our parents that they have a new method of notifying if your child misses school. They'll call parents at 10:30 am for any unexcused absences along with the 6 pm notification. I'm really relieved they made this change because of Sierra's disappearance but I think this change could've been made much sooner cause you never know if a child ditches and the parent doesn't know for the entire day. With Sierra, she never showed up to school or came home and her mom didn't know until she herself got home. It has to be terrifying to come home with your child not there only to get a call from the school just as you get home that your child was never even there. I mean think about it. If they altered the policy before Sierra went missing, then her mom would know much sooner, would've called the police sooner and they may have gotten more evidence to work with and could've possibly found Sierra and her kidnapper much sooner. But what happened has happened and we can't change the past. All we have to do now is hope that Sierra is found and that she'll come home.

Just a couple days next week for more STAR tests and I don't have to deal with it again for another year.

Still no sign of Sierra LaMar. On Wednesday, some jerk hacked her Twitter account and sent out a fake tweet that got deleted. Hearing that really ticked me off that someone would send out false hope to friends and family who care about a girl who's been missing for a month and could possibly be dead. Hope that person's proud of themselves for pulling crap like that.

Anyway, people are gonna have searches from dawn till dusk in areas in Morgan Hill, San Martin and Gilroy. I really think that maybe Sierra probably won't be in this area and could be somewhere else in California...maybe even out of state. I don't know but I hope she's found soon.

Today was Day of Silence. What is it?

It is a silent protest against discrimination of those LGBTQ (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Questioning) identified. You make a vow to be silent for the entire day or most of it if you can. You don't need to be quiet the whole day, and you can speak when deemed necessary. It's actually more of an eye-opener than a protest. I can't go the whole day without talking and it really makes you think what it feels like for kids to not talk because they're scared of people finding out their sexual orientation. It sucks to not have a voice. By this, we work to give those people back their voice in the end of this type of prejudice.

I may not have gone through the whole day without talking, but it's enough to know how much it sucks to not have a voice. It's one of the reasons I support homosexuality and want to fight for their rights.

How many days till summer?

Ugh.. wish it would come sooner than later. It's only Tuesday and I'm tired of school already. It's STAR testing this week and next week. So jealous that my sister is a senior and doesn't have to come to school until 11:30 since she doesn't have to take testing. I could so use about five more hours of sleep.

Not much this week so far though today in anime and manga club we did see an anime called Princess Jellyfish which was rather interesting and hilarious. It follows a group of roommates and each one of them is an otaku for something. I.e. Jellyfish, trains, kimonos, etc. Think I'll check out more when I get time.

Please Come Home...

I know I've been doing a lot of posts recently about Sierra LaMar. Sorry but I can't help myself knowing there's a missing girl out there somewhere. Anyway, due to the bad weather it's been hard looking for anything underwater and they just found some trees and other various items but they're working this weekend in the hopes to find possible evidence. Anyway I found this Youtube video and thought I'd share it in the hopes that she'll be found and will return home safely.
